Welcome to Lourdes at Home

If you are not able to be with us in Lourdes for our pilgrimage this year, for whatever reason, we invite you to participate in our pilgrimage from home. Here you will find resources that you can download and use, along with links to the live-streams of our Masses. This year we have arranged the live-streaming of our Opening and Closing Masses alongside the services already streamed by Lourdes TV, so there is more opportunity to fully participate.

Please download the programme and liturgy book if you wish to follow along with hymns and readings from home.

Please note that all times given on the pilgrimage programme are local time for France.

To follow from home please take one hour off the given times as we are one hour ahead in France.

We are happy to have you with us and assure you of our prayers for all those at home in the Diocese of Salford, whilst we are in Lourdes.

Pilgrimage Programme

Liturgy Book 2026

We are delighted to announce that we now have a Pilgrimage Channel on WhatsApp.

The channel is easy to follow by scanning the QR code to the left. Once you have followed us, messages will appear under the ‘updates’ tab on the bottom left hand side of your WhatsApp screen.

The channel has been created to keep you up to date during our pilgrimage week with relevant announcements, such as a change to the programme.

When we return home we will keep you up to date with any events and announcements throughout the year.

Your details remain private and nobody else on the channel can see the name or contact details of other followers, unless they are already in your WhatsApp contacts. Announcements are one way only so nobody on the channel can reply with a message. You can react to an announcement with an emoji if you wish.

This is a new form of communication that we are trialling this year.

JOIN OUR MASSES & PROCESSIONS ON LIVE STREAM

You can join the live stream from Lourdes TV at any time during the day using the viewer below. Simply click the white triangle in the centre to activate the live feed from Lourdes.

You may wish to join the livestreams of our Masses and processions via the buttons below. Not all of our programme is able to be live-streamed due to available resources in Lourdes, however a good majority of our programme will be broadcast, those Masses and services are listed below.

Please use the button next to the particular service that you wish to watch to ensure that you join the right feed for that particular Mass or procession.

Please note that the International Mass, Torchlight Procession and Blessed Sacrament Procession are shared with numerous other pilgrimages and so it may be difficult to see Salford amongst the footage, but rest assured, we will be there!

SATURDAY 1st AUGUST:

20.00 UK time - Marian Torchlight Procession

SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST:

08.30 UK time - International Mass -

22.00 UK time (approx.) - Accompanied Night Visits to the Grotto for Youth & Hotel Pilgrims

MONDAY 3rd AUGUST:

09.00 UK time - Grotto Mass
