Francis Grimshaw R.I.P.

Sadly this evening we have learned of the passing of a member of our pilgrimage family, Mr. Francis Grimshaw. Francis passed away on the 5th July; his funeral took place this last Thursday 14th July. He had joined us as a pilgrim in Lourdes each year with his family since 2009. Please remember Francis and his family in your prayers at this diffucult time.

May we also ask you to remember in your prayers Francis' brother Father Anthony Grimshaw who is not well at this time.

Cycle to Lourdes!

In a weeks time the first of our Salford pilgrims will begin their journey to Lourdes . . . on 2 wheels!
A 9 strong team of cyclists from our Children & Families group will be tackling the 850+ mile route over a period of 12 days. Make no mistake, this is not an easy ride with some challenging climbs and soaring temperatures to overcome.
Some of the cyclists are veterans of the ride (Pat Murden's 4th cycle to Lourdes), some however have hardly cycled before this challenge.

Limited availability for our flights!

We now have limited availablilty for our flight travel option. If you wish to book a place on this year's pilgirmage in just five weeks time, we would ask you to do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. For all bookings please contact Joe Walsh Tours on 0161 820 8790.

Volunteer Training Day

Today over 100 volunteers from across the diocese came together at Cathedral Cantre to take part in their training for our pilgirmage to Lourdes which takes place in just under 6 weeks time. Our volunteers had an informative, funny and at times emotional day. Despite the early start on a Sunday, all were in good form and are very much looking forward to arriving in Lourdes. The day was started by our pilgrimage director, Fr.
